"I dedicate this award to the collective performance of all ASN colleagues in Jakarta, where we always work together to prioritize the interests of Jakarta residents. Heru added that to maintain inflation, especially in terms of food in Jakarta, it cannot be separated from the four steps implemented, namely Price Affordability, Supply Availability, Smooth Distribution, and Effective Communication.
"We also express our appreciation for the attention of Minister Tito Karnavian, who always guides us, the Acting Regional Heads, to continue working to control and maintain the stability of regional inflation. In maintaining food inflation, we have been monitoring food supplies and prices, both routinely and conditionally, at the wholesale and retail levels. In addition, we also carry out urban agriculture and cooperation with food producing regions," Heru added.
Meanwhile, the Assistant for Economy and Finance of the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Sri Haryati, added that this award is very meaningful for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for its efforts to maintain regional inflation stability. Sri explained that based on data released by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of DKI Jakarta Province, the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation growth in DKI Jakarta in July 2024 was 1.97 percent. This figure is lower than the national inflation y-on-y for the same period of 2.13 percent.
